IoT Security Solutions
Automatically discover and classify IoT/OT devices, detect abnormal behavior and quarantine compromised endpoints.
Overview
IoT is everywhere — roughly 63% of enterprises, over 92% of industrial organisations and 82% of healthcare providers run connected devices that cannot host an agent, keep default credentials and rarely receive firmware updates, yet share network segments with core business systems. One camera or sensor is enough to become a pivot point, and most asset inventories do not even list them.
Check Point starts with visibility: passive traffic analysis fingerprints IoT and OT devices, records vendor, model, firmware and communication baselines, and scores risk — default credentials, anomalous outbound connections, known vulnerabilities. Zero-trust segmentation then limits each device to the resources its function requires, blocking unauthorised access and lateral movement.
For devices that cannot be patched, virtual patching blocks exploit traffic at the network layer, backed by real-time IoT intelligence for zero-day attempts; industrial protocols such as Modbus and DNP3 are parsed for anomalies without disrupting production. GSAFE supports device inventory, segmentation design and validation.
